a twenty-something, aka "millennial", aka "GenYer" with ambitious dreams and adventurous spirit who finds comfort and excitement in blogging. I'm taking on the "real world", learning all the ups and downs of what it means to be a twenty-something in this day and age. Things that I like include, but are not limited to: dancing, singing while driving (and at other times, too), avocados, traveling, meeting new people, laughing, writing, inserting lines from movies into everyday conversation, and braids.

is a mix of content. To me, this blog is proof to myself that I am alive, that I am human, that I am living to the fullest. It's record that I think about things, that I question what I experience, and I revel in the happenstances, people, sensations, and findings that bring me joy. And I'm always up for a surprise, so that's what each entry is going to be!
I've begun one series of posts called Letters from Tim. It's a series of correspondence with my friend Tim, a young Dutch journalist and a friend of mine living just outside of the city of Eindhoven. We discuss issues and happenings with an intercultural outlook and hope to begin discussions and encourage everyone to think outside the box. Look for the "Tim" tag!
