No longer a virgin

Sushi virgin, that is. That's right, tonight I had my first ever order of sushi. It was vegetarian and made with nothing I haven't eaten before, but a milestone to document nonetheless. Baby steps.

I also ate the entire meal (including our appetizer of fried tofu) gracefully with chop sticks. For anyone who knows me, that is also a feat worth mentioning.

Oh, and I should include that it was completely delectable.

  1. Ah yes. I still remember my first time. It was a fond experience. Fortunately for me, it didn't involve chopsticks because I still can't use those things even years later. Keep on taking those baby steps and sooner or later sushi will be as natural to you as cheeseburgers and french fries.

  3. I've only tried sushi once and I don't really even remember the experience because it was my bachelorette party. I may have to try it again.
